    (b) What are comparator and linear integrator?

5. (a) Explain power supply transformer with block diagrams.

    (b) Define switched mode power supply.

6. (a) Discuss the application areas of PN junction diodes. 

    (b) Explain photo-diode, LED and Zener diode. 

7. (a) Explain RL circuits and the concept of time constant.

    (b)What is mono stable and bi stable multivibrators?
