1. Describe the working principles, symbols, types, and technical specification of Electronics Components (passive element). 5

2. (a) What do you mean by Parameter value identification/measurement techniques? Explain the RL circuit and concept of time constant. 4

    (b) Describe the working principles and user’s guidelines for CRD with block diagram. 3

3. (a) State and derive the Kirchhoff’s current and voltage laws with an example. 4

    (b) Explain the low pass and band pass filter with an example. 3

4. (a) What is basic configuration of biasing in BJT? Explain it with an example. 4

    (b) How you can use different terms with amplifiers such as signal source, input, output and current gain? Explain it. 3

5. (a) Describe the basic idea of an Op-AMP with blank box concepts and inverting and non-inverting.4

    (b) What is bi-stable multi-vibrators? Differentiate between mono-stable and bi-stable multi-vibrators. 3

6. (a) Describe in detail Basic block diagrams of a power supply transformer. 4

    (b) Differentiate between rectifier and bridge rectifier with an example. 3

7. Write short notes on any two of the following: 7

    (i) Regulated Power Supply

    (ii) Switched mode power supply

    (iii) LED

    (iv) Clipping and Clamping
