1. (a) Describe Kirchhoff current and voltage laws.

(b) What is P.N. Junction diode? Discuss V.I. characteristics of P.N. junction diode. Discuss the reasons, why is the rapid increment of current at the certain voltage in reverse biasing.

2. (a) What is Transistor? Describe the working of N-P-N transistor.

(b) Using Norton’s theorem find the current in 8Ω resistor in the network following figure:

3. (a) Describe construction and working of Wien’s bridge oscillator.

(b) In a negative feedback amplifier, the gain without feedback is 100, feedback ratio is and input voltage is 50 mV. Determine:

4. (a) Describe L.E.D. with neat diagram.

(b) Define Resistor, Inductor and Capacitors. What is time constant in R.C. circuit?
